The food was very tasty. We ordered 2 numbers of Aloo Poori, one Aloo Paratha and Dhaba special thali. We also ordered Samosa. After placing the order, the service was quick. All we ordered was liked by us and enjoyed it to the fullest. The Special consisted of Dal makhani, Paneer butter masala, raita, pickle, buttered roti and rice. We also ordered tea and coffee, which was equally good. The staff are also friendly, courteous. On the way we also range of sweets, which we would like to try in our next visit. We had our little one's birthday party at our home with expected guests of 50 and decided to pass on the catering service to Pardesi Vaishna Dhaba. We want to pass our heartiest gratitude through this review to the PVD team for their food quality and the level service. We have had multiple lunches and dinners at their restaurant and based on their food quality and freshness, we were not disappointed by seeing the same quality at our party. In our opinion this is the best Indian authentic taste food restaurant in the East. All our guests sent special thanks to us the next day for the lovely food they had the opportunity to taste during their stay. I would like to quote one of my friend's feedback for the food which in my opinion says it all " Everything was organized epic and span. Hello everyone, We visited this restaurant second time with my family and I must say this place is very welcoming and quite decent. The food was very tasty. The spice levels were exactly as we had assumed (medium spicy), which was very pleasant experience as some of the other restaurants we have been to have never got the spice levels right, always making the food too hot (spicy). Had the Navratri thali at Pardesi Vaishno Dhaba and it was honestly mind-blowing 🤯✨ Every dish tasted incredibly authentic and full of flavor, from the perfectly spiced sabzis to the soft puris and delicious kheer. You could really feel the homemade, sattvik touch in every bite, and the whole thali was beautifully balanced—light yet satisfying. Lots of Indian sweets available here. They also make Jelebis and got some for $5 (shown in photo). I thought the quantity was bit less but i think it’s more the quality that matters than quantity. Very good vegetarian restaurant in the area and lots of vegetarian family friends regularly get food from here. We have had samosas and they were all medium spicy and kids friendly. The lunch deals are very good and priced well. I’ve tried them all and they are equally good. ~ Preethi J

We stumbled upon this by chance, while looking for another restaurant that happened to be closed. Our lucky day... This is the best ever authentic dhaba food in Melbourne. Small,cosy, humble but rich in the taste of the food and the staff behavior. The taste was heavenly. No nasties added to food like coloring, MSG, etc.. So you can eat with ease of heart :) Fully recommended. Only suggestion would be renovation of the toilets; though they are clean enough, would do better, to refurbish. ~ A B

We had a great experience today. The food was absolutely delicious and the quality was outstanding. It was quite busy since it was a Sunday afternoon, but the lady serving us was very friendly and had a lovely smile, which made the experience even better. Although we were initially told there would be a 30-minute wait, we were able to find a seat ourselves as there was space available. The food was very homely, cooked with the right amount of spices and salt. Food was not at all greasy unlike some other Indian restaurants. We tried their Chinese indo noodles and vegetable manjurian, that was very sweet and honestly did not expect such sweetness on a meal. But the dhahi puri and paneer pav baji, was awesome. Wow! What a hidden gem! Tried aloo paratha, so hot, fresh and delicious smothered in ghee. We also had the pani puri which was equally delicious and refreshing clearly made onsite. We also got some of their sweets and they were so yummy! Staff were friendly and hospitable. The place is impeccably clean, with tables cleaned often. Gol gappe, chhole bhature, papdi chat, lassi, Indian sweets and much more. Loved visiting Pardesi Vaishno Dhaba! We ordered a few special thalis and a few additional dishes. Each of them were full of taste and flavour. The jaljeera soda reminded me of my childhood back in India. The rotis that came with thali were so soft and tasty that I felt as if I was at home. Yesterday i hang out with my friends. I went to vaishno dhaba for dinner. Really, the taste of all the items that we ordered was delicious. This was my best food taste experience in Australia. The staff is much cooperative. The aroma of the food which is blowing in the restaurant that makes a person more attractive to try more items. My friends also gives a thumbs up 👍 to this restaurant. We love this place. Food is amazing specially chana Bhatura, samosa chat and pav bhaji. Kaju rolls are too good. We ordered food for Pooja in Navratri and they made it without onion garlic. Had breakfast few times in the restaurant that is clean and hygienic. Mr. Vivek, the owner of this restaurant is very humble and professional. I grew up eating Indian food (I’m not remotely Indian lol) and it tastes just like home. I took my partner and brother there and we’re hooked!! I especially love the Pav Bahji, Chole Bhature & rasmalai. I’ll defo be trying some new dishes soon. I already went twice in one week 🤷🏻‍♀️ We went to tip the hostess and she screamed “NOOOO!” Hahahaha! They’re the friendliest people and you should come down here if you’re ever in Dandy. ~ Lu O

Words would be less if i talk about gobi paranths since 5 days i am almost ordering it daily thank god the place is near my place 100% would recommend the chef has a magic in her hands purely mother feel i myself learned parantha from my Grand mother and my mother cook it so well that i never found someone who could compete her during my childhood i use to complain my mother when she use to pack me plain parantha with achar and it was hard for my food pipe to digest afterwards she started preparing stuffed parantha for me and it was so soft that even old age people or little kids can easily digest and my mother always use to say while cooking and stuffed parantha the stuffing should be more and aata should be less and in every bit you shoukd feel gobie if you give shape with hands instead of belan it will never be torn the reason i explained so much that the chef matched that level made it bigger soft and filled with stuffing easy to swallow for the poeple who cant chew i will personally come and thanks the owner and chef..... god bless you dear chef you will definitely reach heights ~ Radhika A
